What areas do you cover?

We're based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. We film in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and London. We have a close working knowledge of wedding venues in our area.

We can and do work further afield but may apply an extra fee for travel. We are flexible so please call or email us for a quote.

We can film your Wedding DVDs and high definition Blu-ray disc in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, London, and Essex. Towns include: Royston, Hatfield, Hertford, Harlow, Hoddesdon, Potters Bar, Cheshunt, Luton, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Leighton Buzzard, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Dunstable, Sawbridgeworth, Stansted, Biggleswade, Cambridge and Romford.

Will the wedding videography be discreet?

Yes absolutely. We are very experienced in documentary and events coverage and use professional lenses and equipment to capture amazing shots from a distance. During the ceremony we will find a discreet vantage point and remain there the whole time. For the rest of the day you will hardly notice us working away to record the best possible images for you. Unlike a wedding photographer, we do not usually engage with you by setting up shots, but focus on capturing the spontaneity and feeling of the day instead. We also film a lot of the day from two different angles, so the end result is a very professional looking film of your day, beautifully edited and put together just for you. No two DVDs are the same; they are all as unique as your day.

Can we discuss our project with you beforehand?

Absolutely! In most cases, we will travel to you for a meeting to find out exactly what you like and discuss ideas for making your video as special as your big day. If we are incredibly busy and unable to meet you personally, we will discuss your needs in detail over the telephone. The sooner this can happen the better, so that we have time to plan everything properly. We always have a meeting 4 weeks prior to your wedding day to finalise plans. Again, if we are unable to come and see you, we will send you a list of questions about the final arrangements and then conference call you to discuss any finer details for your day. We like to talk to you before your event, as it's important we get a feel for you both as a couple and are able to meet your expectations and needs.

Do you use lighting equipment?

We avoid using artificial lights wherever possible as they draw attention and detract from the spontaneity of the coverage. Obviously much depends on the venue and time of day (or year), as we prefer to adjust the settings on our cameras to work in low light conditions. If a particular situation requires extra lighting, we need to discuss this before the day and plan accordingly, but our cameras perform exceptionally when filming in low light situations. A typical situation where we may use an on-board LED camera light is in a dark room during the first dance.

What equipment do you use?

We use professional Sony High Definition broadcast cameras and a range of specialist grip equipment including Manfrotto tripods and dollies, Glidecam Pro 4000, and Sennheiser wireless microphones. We edit with Sony Vegas. In addition, we use a range of specialist peripheral equipment and software to create a unique finished film which features Dolby Digital Stereo. This, combined with our skills in editing, produces a very high quality recording of your day, produced as a region free DVD or high definition Blu-ray disc which can be played anywhere in the world.

Can I choose the music?

Yes of course. Our aim is to make the finished video as relevant and as meaningful to you as possible. We will be delighted to discuss your preferred style of music and suggest additional tracks wherever needed. We add your musical choice where most appropriate and edit the footage of your day to great dramatic effect. We take a long time over putting this all together for you as we believe we're only as good as our last wedding.

How long will the finished wedding video last?

Most of our wedding videos last anywhere between 60 and 80 minutes maximum. Our films tell the story of your special day, and we achieve this by careful and skilled video editing and post production, plus incorporating your choice of music into the final film to highlight the emotions and spirit of your day's events. The end product is a film that you, your family and friends will love to watch from beginning to end.

To view a sample DVD menu, highlights and DVD packaging see our Samples page. To request a sample DVD of a typical package, please just call or email us - and we will post one out to you.  Above all else, we want to record your day for you and will help you as much as we can.

When will my wedding video be ready to watch?

The DVD / high definition Blu-ray disc production process can take 8 - 10 weeks or longer, as we are filming every weekend and usually during the week too. We will let you know how busy we are nearer the time.

  • We aim to give you a "rough cut" of your day within 8 weeks
  • Once viewed, give us your feedback
  • Do one set of amendments based on this feedback
  • and then send your finished DVD / high definition Blu-ray disc to you by special delivery

All of this is individually designed for you and no two discs are the same.

How will you record the sound during the day so that we hear everything that happens? Most of the videos I've seen have dreadful sound!

On all our productions we use a combination of radio microphones and professional studio mics to ensure a clean, sharp and defined sound. During the wedding ceremony we like to "mic" the Groom with a small wireless button microphone.  During the Speeches, we discreetly place a microphone close by so that we hear and record everything. We can also enhance our sound recordings in post production if need be.

Can you record anything before the wedding?

Yes. This could include anything from an engagement party to an ‘interview’ with the bride and groom just before the ceremony. Please remember that our packages are a guide and anything can be tailored to suit your needs.

Are you insured ?

Yes we are. This is our full-time profession and we have insurance cover through BECTU - the Broadcasting Entertainment Cinematograph and Theatre Union. This insurance includes £10 million public liability insurance.

How do I go about booking you for our wedding day?

  • To make a booking, please phone us on 01438 223 679 or complete the booking form and post it to us.
  • You will need to read our terms and conditions and pay a non refundable deposit of 10% of the package price.

  • We will confirm receipt of your deposit and your booking.

Can we buy extra copies of our film and how long after our wedding can we do this?

We keep a master copy of your finished DVD / high definition Blu-ray disc and can produce you full copies any time you wish after your wedding day if needed.

Do I pay VAT on top of the prices you quote?

No, any VAT charges are included in the price. We always quote a fixed price for your film so you know exactly how much it's going to cost you.
