Well, sorry to disappoint but we got well and truly stuck on Sunday and couldn’t get our car onto the main road for Sunday’s Wedding Fayre at Shendish Manor.
Watch this space for the next event!
Will this snow ever melt??

On the 21st July this year we filmed the action packed wedding of Katrina and James at the picturesque Pinner Church and then afterwards at Bushey Country Club. With fantastic weather, the bride and bridesmaids arrived in true wedding style and the church was packed with family and friends for a lovely ceremony. The Bride, Groom and Bridal Party all looked stunning in their outfits.
With photos being taken in a relaxed and informal style by Marie Wootton all guests left the church and headed for the Wedding Reception. Held at the Bushey Country Club the staff catered wonderfully for all the guests, and everyone enjoyed the beautiful grounds, fabulous large pond and lovely views. The Wedding Breakfast looked stunning and the speeches were met with much love and laughter.
After cutting their Cake, which had cup cakes below, the happy couple took to their romantic First Dance in front of family and friends, and with the help of the resident DJ, Marcus Bond, guests were soon joining in! With evening guests arriving to the happy scene the party was certainly soon going strong.
Congratulations guys, what a day to remember!
On the 7th July this year we had the pleasure of filming Debbie and Russell’s Wedding Day at The Cromwell Hotel in Stevenage. The sun was shining as the bride and her entourage arrived in style in a pink stretch Hummer!
After a personal ceremony held in a beautifully decorated room, photos and drinks were taken outside in the garden and courtyard. Of course this gave guests the opportunity to play with the balloon models of Vincent motorbikes and pose for pictures!
Their Wedding Breakfast was served in the adjoining room and was laid out like a fairytale with amazing attention to detail. Speeches were made and gifts handed out, some more surprising than others! After cutting a trio of cakes – the Wedding Cake, a second Cake made of cheese and then the brides mother’s birthday cake! – the evening completed with a fabulous First Dance to Metallica and then guests partied on for the rest of the evening to DJ Steve of Maxims.
Congratulations on an eventful and memorable Wedding Day.

On the 15th June this year we filmed the Wedding of Laura and John at St Michaels Manor in St Albans. We filmed right from the Bridal Preparations in the morning which were on location at St Michaels Manor and the atmosphere was buzzing. The ceremony was bathed in sunlight in the Orangery and everyone looked fabulous.
Despite the weather threatening to pour with rain and storm we had sunshine and a breeze all day. Photos were taken by Bill Bowman outside in the beautiful gardens and then the Reception was back in the Orangery which looked like a fairytale.
We collected a few Guest Messages wishing Laura and John well, and then the happy couple had their First Dance which was amazing and a real crowd pleaser! The disco kicked in and all guests really let their hair down for a good night of partying.
We were thrilled to be asked to film the Wedding of Louise and Jonathan at Blakemore House in Little Wymondley on 3rd June this year.
The team at The Blakemore looked after both the guests and the happy couple wonderfully. Despite the weather only stopping raining for about 15 minutes all day, the Wedding was a beautiful affair and the Bride and Groom got to have photos taken outside in the lovely gardens. The ceremony room was decorated with flowers and balloons where they had a civil ceremony followed by a Jewish Blessing. Drinks and canapes flowed whilst their photographer Michelle Szpak organised guests for their group shots!
With a quick turn around the Wedding Breakfast was organised and the tables looked stunning. The food was first class and the evening finished off with a romantic First Dance followed by some lively dancing accompanied by a fabulous live band.
Congratulations guys!
Wedding Ring Styles – What To Choose
It’s a dilemma. Do you go for the traditional plain gold or even platinum band or something with a bit of bling in it? Maybe you’ve been handed down a ring and are debating using that as your Wedding Band. Eternity rings are popular to use as your Wedding Band or maybe you want to create something special with specific stones in it for your Wedding Band.
Well, there are no set traditions as to what type of ring you should use. Some couples even use sweetie rings to exchange and use on the day! It’s the act of giving and exchanging a ring which is the symbolic part along with the words spoken at the same time. Your ring shows unending love and commitment to your partner.
So the general view is, it’s your Wedding Day and your Wedding Ring, so chose and wear what you like! If it’s a ring which has been handed down from a family member it will no doubt have more sentiment and memories attached to it, making it extra special for you. Just remember if you do get peckish and eat your sweetie ring you may need to go and buy another one!

We were the wedding videographers for Emma and Williams Wedding at St. James’s Church in Bushey on 17th February this year. The beautiful old church was full of friends and family enjoying a relaxed but emotional ceremony. Their handsome young son in his mini morning suit enjoyed all aspects of the church and thoroughly inspected all areas much to everyone’s amusement! All captured to DVD to embarrass him later on in life!
Their photographer Angela from Raphaelite took some fabulous shots outside in the church grounds and really captured the moment.
The weather was kind and kept dry and bright whilst the happy couple went with the Photographer to the Rose Garden the wedding guests made their way to the Blue Check Restaurant in Bushey high street. Yet again a relaxed and informal reception made sure everyone had a wonderful day to remember. The already impressive restaurant was well laid out for the wedding with covered chairs with bows, balloons, flowers, a wishing well and looked stunning. The Bride, Groom and guests were looked after by friendly staff and the evening finished off with a romantic First Dance followed by the throwing of the Brides bouquet. This caused a great deal of excitement and later on the dance floor got busy and everyone had a good old boogie!
Well done guys!
